Who is Peppa?
Hello! I am Toya Monger, but most people address me as Peppa. I am a Jackson, MS native, and a Navy Veteran who served for 8 years. After serving, I pursued an undergrad degree in Biology and a graduate degree in Human Performance/ Nutrition. In the midst of my studies, I began teaching Zumba® Fitness in 2014 and MixxedFit® in 2015. I am active in my community not only with the dance fitness world, but as well as belonging to two sororities: Kappa Epsilon Psi Military Sorority, Inc. (FA15) and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (FA20). I served for MixxedFit® as a Master Educator/ National Trainer from 2015-2019. During these years of teaching, I realized that I was leading people to reaching fitness goals, strengthening their confidence, self- esteem, relieving stress, and more. Therefore, I pursued a Group Fitness Certification and became a Certified Personal Trainer through ACE (American Council on Exercise). I recently became an Xtreme Hip Hop Instructor where I’ll be teaching Step Aerobics. When the pandemic hit in 2020, it sparked me to use my skills further and lead, as well as hold my students accountable, in HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), mini band, twerk fitness, and stretch workouts. Teaching is a PASSION that has become my Job! My goals are to obtain my PH.D., open my own gym facility, and a Safe Haven for teenage girls. When I was involuntarily discharged, HONORABLY, from the military I was afraid of what was ahead for me in life. I asked God to just guide me and keep me afloat. I haven’t reached my full potential as I would like, but I know that by the Grace of God, I will.

Getting in shape shouldn’t be a punishment. It’s an amazing and empowering lifestyle decision that anyone can achieve. I believe in finding the pleasurable side of fitness, and while there may be a sore muscle or two along the way, the amount of fun and levels of energy you will experience will far exceed the discomfort.

Private Sessions
Building Confidence
Your schedule may not allow you the time to get to regularly scheduled classes, you may not feel confident enough to workout in front of others, or it could possibly be your religion. Whatever it may be, do not allow it to get in the way of your fitness needs. Book me for your private sessions. Sessions are offered online as well.
